Imposter Syndrome is an online escape room based on the Among Us game by Innersloth. It was originally designed as a portion of a live murder mystery, and repurposed into a standalone website. To participate, read the short introduction below, then return to the map to solve puzzles to open different lockers. Each locker will reveal a different part of a full code that must be input in order to eject the correct imposters and keep your ship safe!

This game was originally designed for preteens and teens. Anyone may play, but some may need help from older friends and family, and some may find the puzzles a bit too easy. We suggest having paper and pen or a word document handy for all the clues you find!

What This Is

the story

The Skeld. It used to be your favorite safe place. You adore your fellow crewmates, and everyone has fun doing tasks and chilling in the cafeteria. What's not to love about sailing through space?

Then Ensign Red discovered Captain Gray and Captain Rainbow in Navigation, murdered. Worse, when checking in Communications, Ensign Purple found a number of critical functions of the ship had been sabotaged. You and the crew must fix the Skeld - but also discover who among you has been replaced by Imposters, dangerous shape-shifting aliens that have clearly infiltrated your ship!

Click here to return to the ship and carry out your duties.
