Introductions are in order...

I need to put in a place holder before I leave work today!! So this is it. Hi, I'm Samma (yes, that's short for Samantha, but I like Samma so much more), and I am a librarian-in-training. Which I think sounds better than library assistant. I've been working at the Palm Harbor Library for nearly three years now, and last year I entered the USF grad program to get my MLIS. I work with both Adult Services (where my office actually is, shared with my lovely co-workers in that department) and Youth Services because our Young Adult Services positions are frozen.

I am in charge of the YA programs, and my favorite ones use interactive theater. That's where this blog comes into play! I'll be posting reviews of programs, tips for using interactive theater in the library, book reviews, and more.

You'll see many more photos of me in costume than in my natural state, so I suppose the only photo I could find easily on this computer being me as Scootaloo is totally appropriate. I'm an adult, I promise. Usually.
